My dear friend and fellow artist

Dom. I cannot believe you are not here with us today. I remember those conversations about art, how you told me you always wanted to be an artist...how you had such a passion and deep appreciation for the mystery, beauty, and the perfection in art. But what most prevailed in my mind were your parting words as I prepared to retire...that TEACHING is the noblest profession of all. You said that, after all, to have the gift is great...but to share it is much greater. Since retiring I have often thought about your message, and you would be happy to know that I now know you are right and forever grateful to you for your wisdom. RIP, dear friend.
