Amerigo  Cavuoto
Amerigo Cavuoto, A lifelong resident of Tuckahoe passed away peacefully on July 16, 2015 at the age of 85. He was born on July 31, 1929 to the late Angelo and Angelina (Varrichio) Cavuoto. Amerigo worked as a carpenter for over sixty years until his retirement. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the LT. Col. Sam DiRenzo V.F.W. Post 2285. Amerigo is survived by his wife of 59 years Antoinette (Ferrante) Cavuoto, his children, Suzzanne Cameli (Michael), Patricia Cavuoto, Richard Cavuoto, and Deanna Mullen (Jack). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Nicole and Adriana Cameli, Kristopher and Matthew Bunis, Grace and Christa Mullen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with his parents he was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. Family and friends may visit on Friday July 17, 2015 (Today) at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Eastchester, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 18, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Assumption Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle.
