Peter Acquaviva, Sr., 86, of Tuckahoe died on August 30, 2015. Beloved husband of Clara Botte Acquaviva. Loving father of Susan (James) Nicoletti, and Peter (Paula) Acquaviva, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Amanda Nicoletti, and Peter R. and Alyssa Acquaviva. Dear brother of Esther Petroro, Nicholas Acquaviva, and Anthony Acquaviva. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Peter was born on May 27, 1929 to Antonio and Mary Ferella Acquaviva. He served in the US Army from 1951-1953. He was an Upholsterer for his own company, GBG Associates in Yonkers, NY. He also served as an auxilliary police officer for the Tuckahoe Police Department.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Thursday, September 3, 2015, 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday September 4, 2015 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven.
