Domenico Filardi, a resident of Tuckahoe died on September 16, 2015 at the age of 80. He was born in Civita, Provence of Cosenza, Italy to the late Domenica Rimoli and Antonio Filardi. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Luigia (Louise) Ventrella Filardi. He is also survived by his three sons, Anthony, Joseph, and John Filardi, daughter in laws, Linda, Pamela, and Sharon, grandchildren, Vincent, Matthew, Christopher, Melissa and Nicole. Domenico is also survived by his brother Demetrio and his wife Lidia. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Frank and Sandy. Before his retirement Domenico worked for General Motors in Tarrytown, NY and the Eastchester School District. The family will receive friends on Friday September 18, 2015 (Today) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
