Obituary for Ronald P. Sullivan

Ronald Patrick Sullivan, 73, of Yonkers, NY, passed away after a long battle with illnesses on January 21, 2016. Ronald was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 23, 1942 to the late Joseph and Rose (Gaffney) Sullivan. Ronald attended St. Joseph''s Grammar School in Bronxville and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers. He went on to join the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters in 1961, and worked as a plumber with Local 1 in New York City until his retirement. Ronald is survived by his brother Joseph (Mary Ellen) Sullivan, his niece Karen (Kevin) O''Hara, his nephew Danny (Mary) Sullivan and his great-nieces and -nephews Grace, Declan, Patrick and Kiera. During the prime of his life, Ronald was an avid skier who enjoyed his home on Hunter Mountain, and summers on the beach in Belmar, NJ. He will be greatly missed by those who loved his sense of humor and big heart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 9:45 am at the Church of St. Joseph in Bronxville, NY, followed by interment at Holy Mount Cemetery in Eastchester, NY.
