Obituary for Eugenia A. Spatafore

Eugenia A.  Spatafore
Eugenia (Jean) Angelica Spatafore (Born Scaringi), 97 passed away in her home in Naples Florida on March 23, 2016.
She was born in Tuckahoe in Westchester County on April 14 1918 to Giovanni and Palmira Scaringi (Raffi) and baptized at Assumption Church.
She married her beloved husband Frank A Spatafore on June 14, in the early 1940's and they remained devoted to each other until his death in 1985.

Before moving from Tuckahoe, to New Fairfield Connecticut, Eugenia was a valued employee of Burroughs Wellcome.
Once in Connecticut she was a dedicated homemaker, very active in creating beautiful and intricate ceramic and needlework pieces which she generously gifted to friends and family.
Eugenia enjoyed welcoming guests for deliciously prepared and expertly presented meals and along with her husband, was a most welcoming host.
She adored her dogs, Siva I, Siva II and Tasha and had a soft spot in her heart for all dogs.

Eugenia and Frank relocated to Naples Florida in 1985 shortly before his death.
Eugenia built a life for herself there developing new friendships while maintaining past friendships with folks throughout the states.

She is predeceased by her husband Frank A. Spatafore.
She is survived by her brother Robert Scaringi of Las Vegas Nevada, several sister-in-laws and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Tuesday, March 29, 4-8pm. Mass, Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 9:30 am at The Assumption Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. To sign our online guestbook visit www.westchesterfuneralhome.com
