Obituary for Grace Failla

Grace Failla, 95, of Tuckahoe passed away on April 6. Cherished sister of Lorraine Mastrogiovanni, and the late Salvatore and Diego Failla, Josephine Circelli and Yolanda Ferrante. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was born on November 27, 1920 to the late Jasper and Concetta (Giarratano) Failla.

Born in New York City, she also lived in the Bronx before moving to Tuckahoe. She worked for Railway Express and Barclays Bank in Tuckahoe. She was a member of the Eastchester Seniors and the Lake Isle Country Club.

Grace was a charter founder of the American Family Immigration History Center at Ellis Island and the Society of Statue of Liberty Foundation. She enjoyed drawing and dress design and will fondly be remembered for her generosity and love of family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER on Sunday April 17, 2-4 pm. A Catholic funeral mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe, on Monday - April 18 at 9:30am. Interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
