George J. Buny, a resident of Shrub Oak, NY and Vero beach, FL, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2016 at the age of 81. He was born in New York City on November 28, 1934 to the late Jean and Henrietta (Larquier) Buny. He is survived by his wife Brenda Franze, his three children, Kenneth Buny (Carolyn), Denise Landers (Kenneth), and Steven Buny (Debbie); step-children, Jeannine Murphy (John) and Richard Franze (Roxanne). He is also survived by his sister Odette Buny and 10 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., Eastchester. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday June 27, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of George J. Buny to the Rosary Hill Nursing Home 600 Linda Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
