CURRY-Margaret (Meg) Gossett
died peacefully on July 3 2016. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Curry Meaders, son-in-law David H Meaders, their child Mackenzie, her brother and his wife, Byrd and Joan Gossett, cousin Mary Anne Gojdics and many more cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored.
She was fiercely proud of living her entire adult life in New York City; she taught at Trevor Day School, Horace Mann Elementary, Calhoun and Town Schools. She also was a Sunday school teacher at All Souls UU, and an editor at McGraw-Hill. She was a voracious knitter and loved to read. Her warmth, sense of humor and ability to pierce through the nonsense will be sorely missed. Memorial service to be held on Monday, 8/8 at 4 pm at the Church of the Heavenly Rest, 2 E 90 st, NYC. In addition to (or in lieu of) purple flowers at the service, donations may be made to the Twelve Step organization of your choice.
