Charles W. Tyroler, 87, formerly of Yonkers, NY died on Aug. 19, 2016 at the Wartburg Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. Beloved husband of Joan Scheff Tyroler; devoted father of Linda Tyroler-Pinto and son-in-law John; Karen O'Connell and son-in-law Wayne. Cherished grandfather of Lindsay and David Arensdorf; great grandfather of Harley Arensdorf. Charles was a graduate of The New York Military Academy and attended New York University. Charles served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was also a specialist in engineering construction and Treasurer/Controller for Peerless Construction Company in New York.
