Fred Madonna, a longtime resident of Tuckahoe passed away on September 6, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born in New York City on September 24, 1928 to the late Antonio and Susan (Almarino) Madonna. He along with brothers the late Pat and Neil Madonna owned and operated the Fruit Orchard in Eastchester for many years. Fred is survived by his beloved wife Angelina (Pellegrino) Madonna, sons, Anthony Madonna and his wife Carolann, and Fred Madonna. He is also survived by a sister Marie Taranto, and his cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Lauren Madonna. Along with his parents he was predeceased by a sister Caroline Giglini, brothers Pat and Neil Madonna. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 8, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 190 Main St. Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday September 9, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery Hartsdale, NY.
