On September 30th Raleigh Graves of Tuckahoe, New York, a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, departed this world and began a new journey. Raleigh was born in Tuckahoe, New York, to the late M. Cornelia Graves and Roy E. Graves. He was preceded in death by his brother Roy E. Graves, Jr. Raleigh is survived by his devoted companion Stacey Lee, sister JoAnn Graves Featherson, daughter Pamela Graves, son Michael Graves(Cynthia), grandchildren Luke Graves, Atlas Graves, Sophia Graves and Samson Graves. He is also survived by nephews, a niece, other relatives and friends. Raleigh honorably served his country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Central State University and Columbia University. Raleigh recently retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
