James "Jim" Barrentine, 69, of Eastchester died on November 3, 2016. He was born on December 31, 1946 in New York City to the late Charles and Margaret (Fischer) Barrentine. Jim worked as a Supervisor for the Scarsdale Bus Company for many years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years Marie (Carbone) Barrentine, two daughters, Julie and Kelly Barrentine, a sister, Reon Werner, and a grandson, Phillip James Barrentine.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Sunday, November 6, 2016, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 7, 2016 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
